We believe direct reader support is the only way to ensure vested interests don’t interfere in the editorial process. We are testing the waters and have introduced a flat level of $100 a year for subscriptions. We believe Tamils outside India will be a big source of support in terms of wanting to create an independent journalism portal covering Tamil Nadu. This will provide the seed money to truly execute the vision of independent journalism that is free, neutral and objective.
